The FIRE INHERITED...

Roosevelt Rising

Founded in 1935 by three visionary sons of Piddig – Justo Arquero, Jose Pimentel, and Emilio Ventura, Roosevelt High School was born from a deep commitment to bring quality education closer to home. Inspired by their American education and named after U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the school was built on the belief that the youth of Piddig deserved access to learning that could transform lives and uplift communities. The First Lady herself, Eleanor Roosevelt, even sent her hopes for its graduates: that they would enter the world with a strong sense of responsibility.

Over the decades, Roosevelt has remained a family-rooted institution, passed from one generation of passionate educators to the next. What began as a solution for students who once had to travel far for high school has become a lasting legacy of local empowerment, strength, and educational pride. Today, Roosevelt High School of Piddig continues to rise with purpose, driven by its founding mission: to open doors, build futures, and shape leaders from every walk of life.

From Piddig to the world

From top universities to global companies, Rooseveltians make their mark in places that once felt out of reach. Carrying strength and aiming for excellence. They can. They must. They will.
